What Is Rolfing?
Rolfing makes changes in the body by working systematically with the connective tissue and providing new information to the central nervous system. The connective tissue, or fascia, begins just below the skin and wraps around every muscle and organ...

How Is Rolfing Done?
Rolfing is usually performed in a ten session series. Rolfing sessions last from ninety minutes to two hours. Each Rolfing session builds upon the previous one with a different focus and set of goals, adapted to the client’s unique needs...

Why Choose Rolfing?
People of all ages seek Rolfing for various reasons including: relief from headaches, back & neck pain; postural conditions including hunched shoulders, scoliosis, and sway back; recovery from surgeries, auto accidents, and sports injuries; improved athletic performance; and much more.

History of Rolfing
The term "Rolfing" refers to the system of hands-on bodywork and movement education that Dr. Rolf originally called "structural integration." As we know it today, rolfing is the product of fifty years of study and practice by Dr. Rolf, and the efforts of many people who have carried on her work since her death in 1979.
